The 2020 A.C.U. / F.S.R.A.
British F2 Sidecar Championship
Incorporating The F2 Cup
Following consultations with the A.C.U. and Host Clubs, the F.S.R.A. held a virtual committee meeting on the 19th May 2020; and therefore sadly and regrettably came to the decision to cancel the 2020 A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship owing to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
The F.S.R.A. committee assisted clubs in filling sidecar grids at race meetings once some non-championship events got underway from August through to October, and teams were still able to partake in some enjoyable racing in a severely shortened year.
The clubs could not operate without their N.H.S. doctors, paramedics, and nurses, and the Coronavirus crisis has brought their ‘real lives’ to the absolute forefront. Their contribution to the publics general well-being, has been driven so sharply into focus over the last year. We thank each and every one of them for their dedication at the current time and look forward to 2021 with a greater degree of optimism.
